This is the 6th Limited Edition (LE) electric guitar crafted by Modugno Guitars, it has been given the name, "Earth". Made within the Greater Austin Area of Texas, the LE6 "Earth" is a premium electric guitar that includes exclusive gold-colored parts. This guitar was designed with quartz and exposed wood from a variety of species to reflect the awe-inspiring aesthetics found in nature. This guitar looks as if it were a treasure uncovered from a futuristic temple deep inside a jungle somewhere. The quartz crystals are encased inside an emerald-green epoxy resin design that is lit up with green LED lights. The epoxy resin design is located on the front of the guitar's body. The guitar's body is made from the okoume tree that grows natively halfway across the world in the west coastal countries of central Africa. The stained maple neck is built with a rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl shell dot inlays. "Earth" is also made with a stained maple veneer pickguard. Only one "Earth" will be made to make it as rare as possible.
The LED lights and Fishman Fluence Modern active pickups installed into "Earth" can be conveniently recharged with the charging mount on the back of the guitar, so there's no need to hassle with switching out any of the batteries. The LEDs and active pickups each have their own designated battery supply, so in case the LEDs go out while you're playing, you'll still have fully functioning pickups. The LEDs can last around 5 hours per charge, and the pickups can last anywhere from 100-160 hours on a single charge. The lithium-ion batteries installed in "Earth" are ethically made by EBL who don't source the cobalt used in their batteries from the cobalt mines that violate human rights in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The premium parts installed into "Earth" include Japanese precision-made Gotoh Magnum Lock-Trad Tuners and a Wilkinson by Gotoh VSVG Tremolo Bridge. The use of these parts in tandem does an excellent job at maintaining tuning stability. Additionally, the legendary Fishman Fluence Modern active pickups are all-American-made and include not just one, but two push/pull potentiometer switch modifications. These modifications allow you to get an incredible variety of tones out of the pickups.
The switch modification located in the volume knob position allows you to seamlessly get the best of both worlds with single coil and humbucker pickup tones. Pulling on this knob activates the single coil tone in the neck pickup, while leaving it recessed activates the neck pickup's humbucker tone. Pulling on the other switch modification located in the tone knob position activates the bridge pickup's impressive second voice that has superb distortion characteristics that sound clear with a full-bodied bass. Leaving the tone knob recessed will activate the first voice that has a tight, boom-free bass and a crisp treble frequency sound that resonates well with high-gain guitar tones. With a massive variety of tone options to choose from, you're bound to find the right sound you're looking for.
