The LE8 is Modugno Guitars' 8th limited edition guitar and includes exclusive gold colored parts. This guitar sports a real carbon fiber pickguard, has mother of pearl shell inlays, an ebonol fretboard, and has a high gloss finish while showing off the natural wood grain from the exotic okoume tree that grows natively half way across the world on the west coasts of central Africa.
The LE8 includes two Musiclily Dual Hot Rail single coil sized humbucker pickups that are installed in the neck and middle position of the guitar. They don't have any humming noises that come along with what you would normally hear from a regular single coil pickup. Another great feature of these pickups is that the magnetized metal rails built into them allow for a more consistent tone and volume output (compared to traditional pole pieces) whenever bending notes on the strings. The OriPure PSB2 Rail Hex/Hybrid Open Humbucker pickup that's in the bridge position includes a built-in magnetized metal rail as well, and it emits pure treble frequencies with a full-bodied low end while packing an impressive crunch whenever playing distorted guitar tones.
The LE8 has a unique LED display colored yellow in the pickups. The LEDs last an impressive 17 hours on a single charge and can be conveniently recharged with the C port charging mount located on the back of the guitar, so no need to hassle with switching out any batteries. The lithium-ion battery installed into the LE8 is made with cobalt that isn't sourced from cobalt mines that violate human rights in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The LE8 has a thick maple neck that's made with an ebonol fretboard made with modern and durable materials. Unlike a wooden fretboard, the ebonol fretboard requires absolutely no oiling maintenance whatsoever, it won't crack or warp from exposure to temperature and humidity fluctuations, it helps prevent the frets from moving around, and it is superior at helping keep the neck straight.
