Made-to-order in a small workshop within the Greater Austin Area of Texas, the Modugno X2-S Pro is one of our very first responses to the ever-increasing demand for something refreshingly new in the electric guitar industry. It has the same specifications as all the other X2-S Pro models with the only difference being its appearance. The X2-S Pro is made with our trademark epoxy resin design that is located on the front of the guitar's body. It's lit up with vibrant LEDs that match the color of the epoxy. One of the best perks about the Modugno X2-S Pro is that you get a wide variety of design options to choose from.
The LED lights and Fishman Fluence pickups can be conveniently recharged with the charging mount on the back of the guitar, so there's no need to hassle with switching out any batteries at all. The LEDs and pickups each have their own designated battery supply so in case you find yourself in a situation where you accidentally forget to charge the guitar before a live performance or recording, and say the LEDs go out while you're playing, you'll have nothing to worry about as far as the sound goes because you'll still have fully functioning pickups. The battery for the LEDs can last around 5 hours per charge, and the battery for the pickups can last anywhere from 100-160 hours per charge. The lithium-ion batteries installed in the X2-S Pro are ethically made by EBL who don't source the cobalt used in their batteries from the cobalt mines that violate human rights in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Currently, about 70% of the worlds cobalt supply comes from that area, and unfortunately chances are high that there is unethically sourced cobalt in some devices that we are all using daily.
The Modugno X2-S Pro is installed with premium parts including Japanese precision-made Gotoh Magnum Lock-Trad Tuners, and a Wilkinson by Gotoh VSVG Tremolo Bridge. The use of these parts in tandem does an excellent job at maintaining tuning stability. Additionally, the Fishman Fluence active pickups are all-American-made and include not just one, but two push/pull potentiometer switch modifications. These switch modifications allow you to get an incredible variety of tones out of the pickups.
Pulling on the switch modification in the volume knob position activates the single coil mode in the neck pickup, while leaving it pushed in activates the neck pickup's voice 1 humbucker tone. Pulling on the other switch modification located in the tone knob position activates the bridge pickup's impressive 2nd voice that has superb distortion characteristics that sound clear with a full-bodied bass. Leaving the tone knob pushed in will activate the bridge pickup's 1st voice that has a tight, boom-free bass and a crisp treble frequency sound that resonates well with high-gain guitar tones. With a massive variety of tone options to choose from, you're bound to find the right sound you're looking for.
If all that wasn't already enough, the Modugno X2-S Pro also sports a real carbon fiber pickguard, has an exposed wood design from the exotic okoume tree that grows natively across the world on the west coast of central Africa, and a thin maple neck that's made with real mother of pearl shell inlay dots that are inlaid into an ebonol fretboard made with modern and durable materials. Unlike a wooden fretboard, the ebonol fretboard requires absolutely no oiling maintenance whatsoever, it won't crack or warp from exposure to temperature and humidity fluctuations, it helps prevent the frets from moving around, and it is superior at helping keep the neck straight.
The Modugno X2-S Pro is an outstanding electric guitar with a visually striking design that is truly one-of-a-kind.
